This Year's Model Updates:

To celebrate 20 years of building minivans, Dodge will offer an Anniversary Edition package for the Grand Caravan with such features as chrome wheels, two-tone leather upholstery, embroidered floor mats and an in-dash CD/DVD changer paired with a rear entertainment system. Additionally, the company has simplified the trim level structure this year, so that buyers need only choose a base SE, a midlevel EX or a top-of-the-line SXT. The Grand Caravan also gets a tire-pressure monitor, upgraded audio systems and a new integrated key/remote.

Pros:
  • Excellent ride and handling characteristics, good low-end pull from 3.8-liter V6, roomy cabin, comfortable seats.
Cons:
  • No fold-flat third-row seat, unimpressive reliability history, subpar frontal offset crash test score, low resale value.

  • Proud New First Time Owners of a Minivan - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

We just recently bought our van used and we are so much enjoying it. The ride is so smooth unlike you think for a minivan. This is my first minivan to own and I will probably own another one when the time comes. So easy to get kids in and out of the back! I love that is is very spacious. We cant wait to take it on a long road trip.

Bought with 14800 miles on the odometer and since have driven it 2000 miles. It rides and outperforms the 98 Grand Caravan that we had traded in. This is one of the one of the most user friendly vehicles on the road. We had great luck with our old one for 5 years and 122,000 miles and expect the same from our 2004 model.

This car has given flawless ability to me and my family. We purchased this car for 32000 we managed to barter it down a little and with our trade in of our 99 caravan to 24000. It has every single bell and whistle availabe and Me and my family could not be happier! The second i got home though i realized that the 2005 model is going to have fold in the floor middle and back row seats Maybe ill trade this one in for an 05

  • Dodge quality nailed us in month one! - 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan

We had the brand new Dodge Grand Caravan Anniversary edition for less then a month before the transmission went out. Theyve now had it in their shop for 4 days as the dealership doesnt know what the problem is. Chrysler keeps sending out more parts to replace, which has me extremely leery. There is a reason this vehicle is so much cheaper then the competition. My advice is buck up and buy the quality Honda or Toyota vans...

Incentives really helped us make the decision to buy the Anniversary model. Compared to other minivans, this one has much more value for the money. And the dealer was willing to negotiate price, which other makes dealers were not.
